Another Food Trip around Metro Manila

A day with Friends

Our plan is to go to Rockwell and buy cronuts at Bronuts. But because of heavy traffic we have decided to go to Shangrila Mall at Shaw boulevard.

What we did is we watched movie, Thor the dark world.

After watching movie, it is time for #foodtrip.

High School Get2gether

August 26, 2012

Another high school get-together for this year, second get-together. Meeting point was at SM Bacoor between 3 to 5 PM. Who showed up at the meeting place in SM Bacoor were Ace, Lyjie, Sarah, Aileen, Marlon, Weng, Rhoda and Rhyan. Then we waited for Brian at Mercury Drug across SM Bacoor before we went to Kainan sa Balsa. Oops!! At 7-11 in Mabolo, we met with Catleah before we went to Kainan sa Balsa. For some, it was their first time in that place and they felt happy although it was hot there. But because it was a get-together, everyone enjoyed the night with a smile. Me and Marlon ordered our food (rice, soup, chop suey, pakbet, barbecue, inihaw na panga and pancit). Dinner was served and while we were eating, Arlyn arrived. Then after dinner, it’s picture taking time Where everyone should wear our DPA Batch ’99 t-shirts. While we were having our pictures taken, everyone’s also laughing to the max, especially when we had our 10 shoots. Then someone just texted Cathleah and asking where we were and if she can still come, who was she? Nela. We informed her that we will go to Bialetti after Kainan sa Balsa, so she said that she will go to Bialetti and meet with us. We went to Bialetti and continued the chitchat, picture taking, and laughter to the max while drinking smoothies. Before I forget, Airell was just around the corner, waiting for updates. J

High School Get2gether

I've just posted in our Facebook HS Page, something like "Dinner Tomorrow at MOA 6:30 PM". My High Schools Classmates likes it but why we end up to SM Bacoor? Because they are thinking that If it is near in all our places/houses probably we can make more attendees. So we decided to meet at SM Bacoor at 6:00 PM Filipino Time. Then the time has come and we meet all at National Book Store around 7:00 PM. I think we are more than 30's students in our section but a total of 8's show up.

A Family Weekday Getaway

Last May 2, 2012, our families went to Pansol Calamba Laguna for a day tour swimming. We’ve stay at Carpio’s Private Resort, I think they have a website to check for the rates and photos gallery of the place. Family trip are always memorable and the happiest time of our life. My father grilled fish and barbecue, some are singing, playing billiards, eating and off course playing and swimming at the pool with slide. At the second floor of the room, you can see the Mt. Makiling. We stayed from 7:30 AM until 3:30 PM at the resort, then we went to Los Banos Laguna to buy some delicacies and their popular Buko Pie at Orient - The Original Buko Pie Bakeshop. Then time to go home but when we reached Alabang we went to ATC (Alabang Town Centre) to buy Gong cha milk tea (5 winter melon and 2 pearl milk tea) and BonChon Chicken (chicken wings). Then around 7:00 PM we reached our house, some are tired but happy on that day.

Last Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 8:30 AM, Canon Philippines conducted a photography lesson for beginners and professionals. Sir Jiggie Alejandrino conducted the lesson and provides some tips in photography and giving some memorable experiences in his photography. As a beginner, I've learned a lot and willing to attend again for new techniques and advise that Sir Jiggie can share that you'll never regret and worth it.

MAGNUM Party!

I’m not invited to attend the event but I was invited to take pictures of all the guest that will walk on the red carpet. It was my first time, but I’m happy that I became part of this event even though I'm a beginner photographer. I was able to meet some professional photographers and some beginners like me and some are students and employed professionals, all are excited for the event and I’m sure that they are all happy that night because we've seen some celebrities and known people in our country.

We ordered one of their package meal Seat A and B, additional ordered 2 asado siopao, 1 order of pork sweet and sour and 3 regular halo halo with one scoop of ice cream. Set A consist of 3 pcs. of chicken, 3 drinks, pancit canton, buchi and chicharon. Set B consist of 6 pcs. of chicken, 5 drinks, pancit canton, shanghai, dumplings, buchi and chicharon. All foods we ordered are good and delicious and I will also recommend this to others it is cheaper and worth it.

TravBuddy’s Weekend Getaway

Members of Travbuddy’s decided to explore Tagaytay City for one day. We decided to rent a van instead of commute to feel relax and easy to explore the place. All are excited and supposedly we are 13 members to the trip but some members decided not to join because of their personal reasons, so we end up to 8 members. Like what other’s says, “The show must go on”.

We celebrate Noche Buena and Media Noche every year, a Filipino culture that makes every human a time for their families. We make sure that we have no work on that day or if ever on that time. No one could ever been so happy when you are with your family on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. When we celebrate we make sure that foods are served and what I’ve noticed to our food every year is that hotdogs, ham, fruits are always served. On that time, we ate the foods served on our dining table and we make sure that we took some pictures for the memories in that Eve’s.

A place where you can find the monument of our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. A place where you can see group of people like students, families, children’s, lovers, vendor’s, photographer’s and group of friends. Some are walking around the park, laying in the grass and have a picnic, watching the fountain show, moments for the lover’s, vendor’s selling foods and toys, photographer’s taking pictures with pay :) . Some foods that I notice is our very own dirty ice cream which I did not forget to bought, pop corn, Indian mango and a lot more.

When was the last time you had a family bonding?

I remember when we celebrate my mom’s birthday at SM Bacoor that was the last time we have a family bonding. We make sure we are complete even though my other sibling is away because she’s working in other country.

Why we only have limited time to bond, because of our schedule, we have different work schedule.

On that day (dinner), we ate at Gerry’s Grill. The food is good and we all love it.

Off course, celebration is not really complete without the picture taking of the whole family. Actually one of my cousin and my brother’s girlfriend are also there to celebrate my mom’s birthday. I know and we all know that we can consider them as part of the family.

And before that dinner, I have a fun run on the afternoon which is the Nike Manila Run 10K held at 24^th Street Bonifacio Global City. Too many runners joined the fun run and what makes this fun run different from others fun run? Is it because the run is at night and the BIB number was printed on your shirt.

Canon Photo Marathon 2011

I’m very happy that I became part of this event, all canon camera owners either point or shoot or dslr are very welcome to join. When the time they open the online registration, I was not able to register on that date and time, I’ve tried for one hour but still failed. Then in the other day, I tried to register around 8 am and I was able to register.

The Best Hotdog Sandwich ???? in town.

I dont know where or when it started.

But I am sure, there are many store sells sandwich hotdog.

Is it tender juicy?

Where to go if you want to laugh out loud?

Go to comedy bar!

It was a nice experienced and I was so very happy when we went to The Library at Malate, I’m with my high school friends and this is our first time to enter in a comedy. Laugh and laugh to the max.

I think one of the best place to stay is at Pansol Calamba Laguna.

There's a lot of private resort you can choose, they have a free use of videoke.

If you want to buy additional snacks or drinks, 24hrs. store are very near.

Take note that all the swimming pool is a hot spring.

So, what are you waiting for guys?

Have you tried the spaghetti of Jollibee and Mcdo, how about KFC spaghetti?

I've tried all of them, and what I can say Is that Jollibee Spaghetti is the best among the other. Is not because Jollibee is known as original Filipino fast food chain. I've loved Jollibee spagetti because of the taste and how it was served. For KFC spaghetti is more like a Jollibee Spaghetti now and for McDonald spaghetti a little of sourness (like a Italian Spaghetti).
