MAGNUM Party!


I’m not invited to attend the event but I was invited to take pictures of all the guest that  will walk on  the red carpet. It was my first time, but I’m happy that I became part of this event even though I'm a beginner photographer. I was able to meet some professional photographers and some beginners like me and some are students and employed professionals, all are excited for the event and I’m sure that they are all happy that night because we've seen  some celebrities and known people in our country.


The event started at 7 PM of March 14, 2012 in Whitespace Chino Roces Extension Makati City. The event expected to cause traffic that night but I guess some was able to understand. :)

The highlights in this event is to meet and greet the MAGNUM ambassadors (Solenn, Raymond, Erwin, Liz, Tessa and Rajo) and to taste the four flavors of MAGNUM ice cream (Classic, Almond and Chocolate Truffle).



Thanks to Canon Philippines for this chance to feel and became a photographer of the star studded event at MAGNUM Party and partnering to Unilever Philippines. I know that all Canon DSLR users’ purpose why they joined is because they want to be choose as one of the top 5 photographers with best photos. And the prize is one year supply of Magnum ice cream.  

Who are the celebrities attended the event? I can't mentioned all of the celebrities, so I just share their photos.

After two days, I have received an email that my photos won in the Magnum Party photo contest and the organizer published the winning photos in some major broadsheets in our country, namely Philippine Daily Inquire, Manila Bulletin and Philippine Star. I've got 36 pieces of Magnum Ice Cream.

    Wow! It's interesting to know that Magnum has been in the country for the last two years. However, the hype has died down and it's not trending as it used to be.

      I think the last event they have is the opening of their own Magnum Cafe at SM Aura. Let's this year if they will offer new things.

    I love magnum! They're my favourite ice cream and I'll choose them over bens and Jerry's and even baskin Robbins.

    Been loving Magnum (the almond variant) ever since I first got a taste of it. But I have to say that it was too over-hyped when it was first brought to PH. Anyway, this is late but congratulations! :) It was a well-deserved win. Loved your shots!
